Grandpa's Malignant Melanoma

My grandfather told me that his oncologist thinks that the Malignant Melanoma in his foot, which now has recurred three times over two years, has spread to other parts of his body -- namely, his groin. The doctor who he saw today, who removed the stitches from his foot where the cancer was removed a few weeks ago, personally called his primary physician to schedule an immediately appointment for extensive testing.

Of course, the way he told me leaves something to be desired: "I think it's time that you seriously start looking for a place of your own...."
